Explore our software and AI services for a broader view of our capabilities.
Is Prodgrade an AI company or a software development company?
We approach Prodgrade as an AI-first software engineering company.
That distinction matters. AI alone rarely solves the whole problem. Production systems still need interfaces, APIs, permissions, databases, infrastructure, integrations, monitoring and reliable application logic.
We therefore combine AI engineering with the wider software stack required to make it useful in a real business.
Can Prodgrade work with an existing codebase or product?
Yes. We can assess an existing product, codebase, infrastructure and integration environment before recommending whether it should be extended, stabilized, modernized or selectively rebuilt.
Existing products are also often the best place to introduce AI because the users, data and workflows already exist.

AI ENGINEERING
AI Agents, Generative AI & Automation
Practical questions about using AI inside products and business operations.
What kinds of AI solutions can Prodgrade build?
We can build AI agents, Generative AI applications, conversational systems, intelligent search, document-processing workflows, knowledge assistants, AI-powered product features, recommendation systems, classification, analytics and custom automation.
More importantly, we engineer the surrounding application and integrations that allow these capabilities to work with real users, business data and existing software.
What is Generative AI and how can a business use it?
Generative AI refers to models capable of producing or transforming content such as text, structured responses, summaries, code, images or other outputs based on prompts and context.
In business software, the useful part is rarely a simple chat interface. Generative AI can help employees summarize large records, draft responses, extract information from documents, create reports, search internal knowledge, assist customers or turn unstructured information into structured workflows.
What is the difference between Generative AI and an AI agent?
Generative AI primarily generates or transforms information. An AI agent goes further by using that intelligence within a workflow and, where permitted, taking actions through connected tools.
For example, Generative AI might draft a customer response. An AI agent could identify the customer, retrieve account information, prepare the response, update the CRM, create a follow-up task and route the case to a human when confidence is low.
Can you add Generative AI to our existing software?
Yes. Existing software can often gain AI capabilities without a complete rebuild.
We can connect AI models with your APIs, databases, documents, CRM, ERP, support environment, analytics tools, internal applications or customer-facing software while preserving existing business logic where appropriate.
Do we need to train our own AI model?
Not necessarily. Many production applications can use established models while adding company-specific context through retrieval, structured data, APIs, permissions and business logic.
Fine-tuning or custom models may make sense when your data, performance, privacy or economics justify them. We prefer to make that decision from the requirements rather than starting with the assumption that every business needs its own model.
How do you make Generative AI more reliable?
Reliability comes from system design, not from simply asking a model to "be accurate."
Depending on the use case, we may use retrieval from trusted sources, structured prompts, schemas, validation, confidence thresholds, deterministic rules, limited tool permissions, human approval, logging, testing and continuous monitoring.
Can AI agents work with our CRM, ERP and other business systems?
Yes, where those systems expose appropriate APIs or integration methods.
An agent can be designed to retrieve information, trigger approved actions, move data between systems, create tasks, support users or automate parts of a workflow while operating within defined permissions.

PRODUCT ENGINEERING
Custom Software Development
From focused MVPs to large, interconnected software systems.
What types of software does Prodgrade develop?
We develop SaaS platforms, enterprise applications, internal business systems, web applications, mobile apps, dashboards, analytics products, portals, workflow software, APIs, fintech solutions, marketing software, AI-powered products and other custom systems.
Can Prodgrade develop an MVP?
Yes. An effective MVP focuses on the smallest product capable of testing the important business assumptions without creating unnecessary technical debt.
We define the core user journey, critical features, integrations, architecture and launch requirements, then keep secondary ideas out of the first release unless they are genuinely necessary.
Can you build enterprise software?
Yes. Enterprise software generally requires stronger controls around authentication, permissions, integrations, data architecture, auditability, availability, deployment, monitoring and long-term maintainability.
Those requirements influence the system architecture from the beginning.
Do you develop both web and mobile applications?
Yes. We develop web applications and cross-platform mobile products together with the backend APIs, authentication, databases, integrations and cloud infrastructure behind them.

DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE
Industries We Build For
The right software must reflect the workflows and constraints of the business.
Which industries does Prodgrade serve?
We build software across healthcare, finance, e-commerce, logistics, manufacturing, real estate, education, telecommunications, travel and other business sectors.
Explore our industry software expertise to see how different business environments affect the solutions we design.
Why does industry knowledge matter in software development?
Two applications can look similar on the screen while requiring very different architecture underneath.
A healthcare platform may place greater emphasis on sensitive data and access controls. Financial software may require auditability and transaction integrity. Logistics software depends heavily on real-time events and integrations. Manufacturing systems may need to fit operational processes and existing enterprise software.
Can Prodgrade build AI solutions for industry-specific workflows?
Yes. Industry workflows are often where AI becomes most valuable because the business context determines what the system should retrieve, generate, automate or escalate.
Examples include document intelligence in finance, knowledge assistance in healthcare, operational automation in logistics, customer support in commerce, or analytics and decision support in manufacturing.
Can you integrate software with industry-specific systems?
Yes. Where the required interfaces are available, we can connect new products with existing platforms, databases, APIs and operational tools.
Integration is usually considered during architecture rather than treated as an afterthought because it can materially affect security, data flow and reliability.
05
HOW WE WORK
Project Process, Cost & Delivery
What happens between the first conversation and production.
How does a project with Prodgrade begin?
We begin with the business objective, current environment, users, desired outcome, integrations, constraints and priorities.
Discovery then helps define requirements, architecture, technical risks, dependencies, development phases and the appropriate commercial model.
How much does an AI or custom software project cost?
Cost depends on the problem being solved rather than a single technology.
Important factors include product scope, AI complexity, integrations, data, design requirements, infrastructure, security, platforms, team composition and delivery timeline.
A focused automation can therefore be much smaller than an enterprise SaaS system with AI, mobile applications and multiple third-party integrations.
How long does development take?
A focused first release may take weeks, while larger platforms can require several months or phased development over a longer roadmap.
AI evaluation, integrations, data preparation, compliance requirements, migration and third-party dependencies can also affect timing.
Will we see progress while development is happening?
Yes. Development should remain visible. Depending on the engagement, clients may receive regular updates, demos, milestone reviews, testing environments, project-board visibility and opportunities to review working software.
What happens if our requirements change?
Product requirements often evolve. We determine whether a request fits the existing scope or materially changes effort, dependencies, architecture, cost or schedule.
Significant additions are handled transparently as scope changes rather than quietly absorbed into the original estimate.
06
ENGINEERING STACK
Technology Stack & Integrations
The stack should fit the product, team and long-term architecture.
Which technologies does Prodgrade work with?
Our engineering teams work across frontend, backend, mobile, databases, cloud infrastructure and AI systems.
Technologies include React.js, Angular, Vue.js, React Native, Flutter, Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, MongoDB and other tools selected according to the product architecture.
Explore our complete technology stack .
How do you choose the right technology stack?
We consider the product's functionality, expected traffic, data requirements, existing systems, security needs, integrations, deployment environment, development speed and long-term maintainability.
The goal is not to use the newest framework. The goal is to choose a foundation that fits the software.
Does AI require a completely different technology stack?
Usually not. AI becomes another capability inside a wider architecture.
A production AI application may still use React or another frontend framework, Node.js or Python services, databases, APIs, authentication, cloud infrastructure and monitoring.
The AI model is only one part of the complete product.
Can you integrate third-party APIs and existing software?
Yes. We can design integrations with payment systems, CRMs, ERPs, advertising platforms, e-commerce platforms, authentication systems, analytics, communication tools, internal APIs and other third-party services where suitable interfaces exist.
Can you modernize legacy software?
Yes. A complete rewrite is not always the safest option.
We may modernize selected modules, expose legacy functionality through APIs, replace high-risk components, update infrastructure or introduce modern interfaces incrementally.
07
TRUST & OWNERSHIP
Security, Data & Intellectual Property
Important questions before another team works inside your software environment.
How does Prodgrade approach security?
Security considerations are built into architecture rather than added after development.
Depending on the application, this can include authentication, authorization, encryption, API security, validation, secrets management, audit logging, environment separation, monitoring, dependency management and controlled deployment.
How is sensitive data handled in AI applications?
AI architecture should account for what information is sent to models, where it is stored, who can retrieve it, how users are authenticated and whether particular data should enter the AI workflow at all.
For sensitive applications, data boundaries and model-provider choices should be explicitly considered during technical design.
Who owns the software Prodgrade builds?
Ownership and transfer rights are defined by the applicable project agreement.
Custom deliverables, Prodgrade's pre-existing reusable components, open-source software and third-party technologies may each be subject to different ownership or licensing terms.
Can Prodgrade sign an NDA?
Yes. Where sensitive technical, commercial or operational information needs to be discussed, an NDA can be used where appropriate before detailed discovery.
08
AFTER LAUNCH
Maintenance, Support & Scaling
Software continues changing after its first production release.
Does Prodgrade provide support after launch?
Yes. Post-launch work may include bug fixes, monitoring, infrastructure support, security updates, dependency upgrades, performance optimization, new features, integrations and ongoing AI improvements.
Can Prodgrade become our long-term engineering partner?
Yes. Some clients need one defined project while others need ongoing engineering support across product development, AI adoption, integrations, modernization and maintenance.
Can our software scale as the business grows?
Scalability is considered in relation to realistic growth in users, requests, data, integrations, features and operational complexity.
The objective is not to overengineer the first release. It is to avoid decisions that make reasonable future growth unnecessarily difficult.
How can we decide whether Prodgrade is the right fit?
Share what you need to build, automate, integrate, modernize or scale. A first technical conversation can help determine feasibility, major risks, likely architecture and whether our engineering capabilities fit the work.
You can also review our software case studies to see examples of real product engineering.
